THE CABIN SESSIONS
Recorded with Beloved, the Cabin Sessions is a collection some of David’s most successful tunes. Recorded with a badass band in a 100 year old log cabin made of wood from old growth lumber from the Jemez mountains it’s a wistful quasi-live wander through the catalog. Players: David Garcia - Vox & Guitars, Nikelle Garcia - Fiddle & Backing Vox, Alex Mcmahon - Lead guitars and Pedal Steel, Greg Williams - Drums, Paul Hunton - Bass, Produced by David Garcia, Recorded by Kabby Kabakof at The Cabin in Albuquerque, NM. Mixed by Bill Palmer @ Frogville in Santa Fe, NM, Words and Music by David Climaco Garcia (except Shoes on Fire by Nikelle Garcia) Cabin Recordings copyright 2020 Road Worn Songs. REDEYE
This is an early “garage” version of Redeye that first appeared on the album “Company Man” a limited self release home recorded in an abandoned storefront in San Francisco’s outer Richmond district. The attacks of September 11 2001 had recently happened and the country was gearing up and marching off to war in Iraq. Strangely (or not) this tune just seems to get more relevant with time as the Earth’s fragile environment collapses.
END OF LAND SADNESS
David Climaco Garcia’s first full length studio album co-fronting the San Francisco rock outfit Lodi. The writing credit on this album is almost evenly split with co-conspirator Henry Moon. Saint of Broken Dreams, Shelley’s Letter, Unforgiven, Little Song, 5557, Fade Away - Words and Music David Climaco Never Satisfied, Scent of Thee - Words and Music Henry Moon, Madeline - Words and Music La Sonambula, Song for a Musician’s Daughter - Words and Music by Henry Moon and David Climaco Garcia
